Vah khoon kaho kis matalab ka
jisamen ubaal ka naam nahin.
vah khoon kaho kis matalab ka
aa sake desh ke kaam nahin.
Vah khoon kaho kis matalab ka
jisamen jeevan, na ravaani hai!
jo paravash hokar bahata hai,
vah khoon nahin, paani hai!
Us din logon ne sahi-sahi
khoon kee keemat pahachaani thi.
jis din subhaash ne barma mein
mangi unase kurabaani thi.
Bole, "svatantrata kee khaatir
balidaan tumhen karana hoga.
tum bahut jee chuke jag mein,
lekin aage marana hoga.
Aazaadi ke charanen mein jo,
jayamaal chadhai jayegi.
vah suno, tumhaare sheeshon ke
phoolon se goonthi jayegi.
Aazadi ka sangraam kaheen
paise par khela jaata hai?
yah sheesh kataane ka sauda
nange sar jhela jaata hai"
Yoon kahate-kahate vakta ki
aankhon mein khoon utar aaya!
mukh rakt-varn ho damak utha
damaki unki raktim kaaya!
Aajaanu-baahu oonchee karake,
ve bole, "rakt mujhe dena.
isake badale bhaarat kee
aazadi tum mujhase lena."
Ho gyi sabha mein uthal-puthal,
seene mein dil na samaate the.
svar inakalaab ke naaron ke
koson tak chhae jaate the.
“Ham denge-denge khoon”
shabd bas yahee sunaee dete the.
ran mein jaane ko yuvak khade
taiyaar dikhaee dete the.
Bole subhaash, "is tarah nahin,
baaton se matalab sarata hai.
lo, yah kaagaz, hai kaun yahon
aakar hastaakshar karata hai?
Isko bharanevaale jan ko
sarvasv-samarpan karna hai.
apana tan-man-dhan-jan-jeevan
maata ko arpan karna hai.
Par yah saadhaaran patr nahin,
aazaadi ka paravaana hai.
is par tumako apane tan ka
kuchh ujjaval rakt giraana hai!
Vah aage aae jisake tan mein
Bharatiya khoon bahata ho.
vah aage aae jo apane ko
Hindustani kahta ho!
Vah aage aae, jo is par
khoonee hastaakshar karata ho!
main kafan badhaata hoon, aaye
jo isako hansakar leta ho!"
Saaree janata hunkaar uthi-
ham aate hain, ham aate hain!
maata ke charanon mein yah lo,
ham apana rakt chadhaate hain!
Saahas se badhe yubak us din,
dekha, badhate hee aate the!
chaakoo-chhuree kataariyon se,
ve apana rakt giraate the!
Phir us rakt kee syaahi mein,
ve apni kalam dubaate the!
aazadi ke paravaane par
hastaakshar karate jaate the!
Us din taaron ne dekha tha
Hindustani vishvaas naya.
jab likkha maha ranaveeron ne
khoon se apana itihaas naya.

The poet asserts that the one who steps forward to sign the document with their blood must possess the blood of a true Indian. Such an individual embraces the spirit of sacrifice and identifies themselves as a Hindustani (Indian) at heart.
The poem concludes with the resounding roar of the people, affirming their unwavering commitment and determination. They declare their arrival, ready to offer their blood at the feet of the motherland. The young and courageous youth stand tall, prepared to spill their blood in the name of freedom.
